Las Vegas – Attorney Tim Meenan will deliver a keynote address at the P&A Leadership Summit on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Meenan will explain the often misunderstood and ever-changing state and federal regulatory laws, discuss their impact on service contract providers and look at strategies for compliance.

Meenan is the managing shareholder at Tallahassee, Florida-based law firm, Meenan Regulatory and Legislative Attorneys. The firm serves as the general counsel to both the Service Contract Industry Council and the Florida Service Agreement Association. They have drafted and implemented the significant changes to statutes and rules governing automobile, home and consumer goods service contracts throughout the United States for the last 20 years.

As former deputy treasurer for the State of Florida, Meenan oversaw Florida’s four billion-dollar state treasury as well as three other divisions of the Florida Department of Insurance, including the division of risk management. He also served for three years as the executive assistant to the Florida insurance commissioner, where he helped formulate and implement legislative and regulatory proposals for the department.
