Hoffman Estates, Ill. — ADP Dealer Services is bringing cloud-delivered video services to SMBs and enterprises. The service will use plug-and-play desktop solutions from Polycom Inc., a provider of open standards-based unified communications and collaboration (UC&C).

ADP Dealer Services now allows users to collaborate face-to-face with colleagues, partners and customers across a broad range of standards-based video platforms. The service is built around high-performance Polycom VVX Business Media Phones and the Polycom VVX Camera, which offer plug-and-play installation to transform Polycom VVX 500 and Polycom VVX 600 Business Media Phones into video collaboration environments, according to the company.

According to a 2013 worldwide survey of almost 5,000 enterprise video users, respondents identified increased efficiency and productivity as the top benefit of video conferencing. The survey, conducted by Wainhouse Research and Polycom, also revealed that almost two-thirds (64 percent) of respondents use video conferencing daily or weekly.

“The ability to collaborate face-to-face over video is becoming a standard ask for today’s businesses, and ADP Dealer Services now can fulfill those requests with a plug-and-play, cloud-delivered video UC, service,” said Gary Testa, global vice president of Cloud and Service Providers, Polycom. “With ADP Dealer Services new service, enabled by Polycom VVX Business Media Phones and the VVX Camera, video collaboration can easily and cost-effectively become a central part of a company’s workflow.”
