LAS VEGAS — Organizers of the third annual Agent Summit have released a preliminary agenda for the Participation & Reinsurance Symposium that will precede the 2013 conference.

The four-hour symposium will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 4, and end before the opening-night keynote and reception for Agent Summit, which runs through March 6.

The agenda for the Participation & Reinsurance Symposium will include four workshops:

Retros, Dealer Obligor and Dealer-Owned Warranty Companies

Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs)

Non-Controlled Foreign Corporations (NCFCs)

Investing the Cash

“This Symposium is an AGENT’S DREAM, drilling down into an area where everybody makes MONEY,” said Randy Crisorio, advisory board chairman and president and CEO of United Development Systems Inc. (UDS). “But BEWARE — you can’t make money if you miss it and there will certainly be some new points of discussion since the election is in the books.”

David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of F&I and Showroom magazine, said organizers added the symposium as an added-value, no-charge takeaway for attendees.

“For agents who want to know more about reinsurance, it’s a chance to hear it all and give yourself market advantage,” Gesualdo told Agent Entrepreneur. “For those that are seasoned on the subject, you’re likely to hear about changes coming soon.”

Agent Summit 2013 is scheduled for March 4-6, 2013, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and is expected to draw hundreds of the nation’s top general agents. For information about exhibition and sponsorship opportunities, contact David Gesualdo via email or call (727) 947-4027.
