Attorney Lewis Kuhl to Lead 2010 VSCAC Workshop on Limited Warranties

TORRANCE, Calif. — F&I and Showroom magazine is proud to announce that Lewis Kuhl, an attorney with the law firm Pathman Lewis LLP, will be a featured workshop presenter at the 2010 Vehicle Service Contract Administrators Conference.


Kuhl, who has spent much of his 20-year career as an attorney specializing in the automotive industry, will address a host of regulations governing limited warranties and vehicle service contract companies. He will also discuss how these companies are adapting to these issues.

Before joining the Miami-based Pathman Lewis, Kuhl served as senior counsel for the JM&A Group, one of the largest independent insurance and automotive service contract companies in the United States. In addition, he served in the legal departments of JM Family Enterprises Inc. and its subsidiaries, World Omni Financial Corp. and Southeast Toyota Distributors LLC.


Kuhl is a member of the National Association of Dealer Counsel, the Florida Auto Dealers Association, the Florida Independent Auto Dealers Association and the National Independent Auto Dealers Association.


He is a frequent speaker to dealers, dealer group, state dealer associations and other industry associations on a variety of automotive industry related topics and issues.


Scheduled for Sept. 14-15 at the Paris Las Vegas hotel and casino, this year’s Vehicle Service Contract Administrators Conference will address the changing environment in which F&I product providers and administrators must operate. The two-day event, which opens with a welcome reception on Sept. 13, features panel discussions, education sessions, keynote speakers and networking opportunities.
