Colleyville, TX – Dealers Resources Inc. (DRI) hosted a regulation compliance boot camp for area automobile dealer sales and F&I personnel in May. The session focused on the federal and state laws governing all phases of in-dealership vehicle funding. Training provided by the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals (AFIP) culminated in AFIP certification testing of those in attendance.

According to Steve Jameson, DRI director of sales and marketing, “We sponsored the certification training in response to dealer requests. The number of regulations that impact consumer transactions has grown exponentially in the last several years. DRI provides training solutions that help dealers maintain fully compliant operations. Dealers who comply with regulations not only avoid lawsuits and fines, they offer consumers a seamless, transparent buying experience, which boosts customer satisfaction – so both consumers and dealers benefit.”

The boot camp was attended by 51 people representing 25 dealerships operated by the following dealers and dealer groups: Dick Scott, Draper Chevrolet Toyota, Golling Buick GMC, LaFontaine Automotive Group, Meade Lexus of Lakeside, Merollis Chevrolet, Northgate Ford, Pat Milliken Ford, Serra Toyota, Shaheen Chevrolet, Stanford Chevrolet, Taylor Chevrolet and Tucker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
