LAS VEGAS — Auto Dealer Monthly announced that Mike Downey will lead a discussion on “BHPH Software Dos and Donts” at the upcoming 2012 Subprime Conference, one of four conferences being offered at Industry Summit 2012.

The vice president of sales and marketing for Automaster will lead a dealer panel discussion on how buy-here, pay-here software should be used after the sale is complete. Attendees will hear from experienced dealers on how they use the software, and how they make it can work in different scenarios and dealership structures.

Downey brings more than 14 years of experience in information technology and the BHPH industry. He served as vice president of business development for a 26-store, multi-state BHPH operation, and spent several years as senior developer with a subprime and BHPH software maker.

The 2012 Subprime Conference will be held Sept. 10-12 at the Paris Las Vegas. The conference —designed for dealer principals, general managers, special finance managers, finance managers, sales managers and BDC managers — will cover special finance, the BHPH business, and will offer educational sessions on a wide range of topics such as marketing, finance sources, niche markets, deal structure, compliance and more.
