DALLAS — Organizers of the annual Industry Summit announced that the 2017 conference will include Lender Summit, a new event designed to meet the needs of executives working in the automotive finance space. Industry Summit will be held Sept. 11–14, 2017, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas.

“Lender Summit is the direct result of a litany of challenges faced by auto finance executives in a time marked by unprecedented sales as well as unprecedented regulatory scrutiny,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “It is a unique opportunity to take a deep dive into the issues affecting your business.”

The agenda is expected to include sessions dedicated to the F&I product market and lender/provider relations, regulations governing the sale and administration of F&I products, and provider contract review and approval, cancelations on repossessions and payoffs, among other topics. Lender Summit attendees will be invited to participate in Automotive Compliance Specialist certification, offered onsite for the second consecutive year by Automotive Compliance Education (ACE).

Lender Summit’s advisory board will be chaired by Brian Reed. As president and CEO of F&I Express, Reed has championed productive lender/provider relations and technological innovation in the F&I office.

“Lender Summit offers many lenders the first opportunity to openly discuss common challenges that exist from operational and regulatory perspectives related to the financing of aftermarket F&I products,” Reed said. “Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with F&I providers and administrators who will also be at Industry Summit.”

Registration for Industry Summit 2017 is open at the event’s website. Attendees who register by Aug. 11 will enjoy a $100 discount. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at (727) 947-4027 or via email.
