DEERFIELD BEACH — Stephen P. Artusi has been promoted to vice president and deputy general counsel of JM Family Enterprises Inc.

Artusi joined JM Family in 2005 as an associate counsel and was promoted to senior counsel in 2007. In 2010, he became deputy general counsel, serving as the principal legal advisor for JM Family’s Treasury department. In his expanded vice president role, he will continue to be responsible for all matters related to corporate policy and governance, corporate investments, risk management, and finance and commercial transactions.

Prior to joining JM Family, Artusi was an associate at law firms Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Holland & Knight LLP, where his practice focused on corporate finance and securities transactions; mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; corporate governance; and general commercial transactions.
