OFF LEASE ONLY – Off Lease Only LLC, one of the largest independently owned used car dealership groups in the United States, announced that Alan McLaren has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer, effective September 8, 2020. Mr. McLaren reports to Lee Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Off Lease Only, and oversees the Company’s day-to-day operations, including sales, finance & insurance, fixed operations, and the Business Development Center.

Mr. McLaren is a highly accomplished automotive retail industry executive with extensive experience leading some of the most respected companies in the sector. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Herb Chambers, the nation’s fifth largest private dealership group, where he oversaw 60 dealerships and 3 collision centers representing 33 automotive brands spanning from Kia to Rolls Royce. Previously, Mr. McLaren served as Senior Vice President, Customer Care at AutoNation where he was responsible for parts, service and collision strategy, achieving growth and performance across 237 locations. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Customer Services at Mercedes Benz USA and oversaw aftersales sales and marketing, parts logistics, engineering, Mercedes-Benz Manhattan, The Mercedes Classic Center and the customer assistance center. Mr. McLaren started his career at Daimler AG in Australia, serving in various retail operations and marketing roles for over eight years.
