A Chinese firm is being sued by Tesla Shanghai, which alleges it infringed on its technology secrets and engaged in unfair competition, reported Shanghai Securities Journal.
The Shanghai intellectual property court is scheduled hear the lawsuit against Bingling Intelligent Technology, a chip designer and auto parts maker based in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, on Oct. 10.
According to Chinese business data platform Tianyancha, Bingling is 11.9% owned by Xiaomi's investment fund unit, reported the journal article.
